I am an almost-native Arizonan and have been a licensed real estate professional since 1995. Having co-owned and operated a successful mechanical contracting company and a construction company for many years, I understand the day-to-day challenges and complex issues business owners must deal with. I also have experience as an administrator of a medical practice and in restaurant & retail management.
Business Brokerage Profession:
My expertise in the main street and middle market industry is extensive and varied, having facilitated many business sales and acquisitions throughout southern Arizona since 1999. I am skilled at contract writing, negotiations, determining price, and business exit planning. My services are designed to compliment those provided by CPA’s, attorneys, bankers and other professionals. As a business broker professional, I manage the valuation process, package and promote the business confidentially, collaborate with lenders, bring qualified prospects to the Seller, negotiate the offer, and write the Purchase Agreement. I hold the Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) and Certified Business Broker (CBB) designations, significant to the industry and continually maintain these designations by completing many required hours of specific education.
Volunteer & Professional Affiliations:
I have worked with several service organizations, served as a director for a hospital foundation, and was a volunteer court-certified mediator. I am a past (2007-2009 & 2013-2015) President and Board Member for the Arizona Business Brokers Association-Southern Chapter (AZBBA), 2016 State AZBBA Board Member, Member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) since 2002, past Board Member and Member of Tucson Commercial Real Estate Women (Tucson CREW), and current Member of Tucson Women At the Top (WATT).
